meet the girl behind the blog.

Hello.

I am Laura, I'm 21 years old and come from the North East of England. I recently graduated from my English and Creative Writing degree and am planning on doing my teaching in September. As an english student I have always had a passion for reading, and recently my passion for reading ha translated over to blog posts. Blogs give you the chance to read about multiple different topics, from the latest makeup trends to reviews on awesome new books that are hitting the shelves. 

I have previously owned a blog, however with the pressure of Uni dissertations I had no time to update and when I finally had the chance to go back to it I just did not like the look and feel of the blog. So, July 2016 and TheLauraJayneBlog was born.

This blog will be my safety space to write about all sorts of interests, from the books i've read, the places I've been and the stuff I've seen. Basically anything I feel should be written down, or remembered.
